If your question is not answered here, please call us at (949) 791-8380 and we will gladly assist you!

Do I need a fence contractor

Yes. An experienced professional with the proper tools will make the job look easy. Proper licenses, worker’s compensation, and insurance will leave you worry free.

Do you have worker’s compensation?

Yes. All of our employees are covered by worker’s compensation.

Does the vinyl need to expand and contract?

Yes. This is a very important thing to consider when installing, as it will prevent cracking and warping.

Can you make a custom vinyl fence or patio cover?

Yes! We are a custom fabricator and can make any design you desire. If you can imagine it, we can create it!

What is vinyl made of?

The base ingredient of vinyl is a rigid PVC (polyvinyl chloride) with a level of titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment for sun protection, ultraviolet (UV) light resistance and impact modifiers for superior strength. The formulation is similar to that of high quality vinyl siding and windows, which have a proven history of long-term durability and structural integrity. That means no chipping, cracking, or rotting problems so common to wood.

Is there a warranty on your vinyl products?

Yes. All of our products carry a manufacturer’s residential limited lifetime warranty. During the life of the product you should not expect to find surface cracking, peeling, chipping, rotting, or fading. This is covered by the transferable warranty.

Will vinyl turn yellow or deteriorate?

No. A quality vinyl product will contain the ideal amount of non-chalking titanium dioxide (TiO2), as well as high grade stabilizers and other ingredients, which prevent ultraviolet degradation.

Will vinyl crack, chip, peel, rot, or fade?

No. During the life of the product you should not expect to find surface cracking, peeling, chipping, rotting, or fading. This is covered by the transferable warranty.

Is vinyl maintenance-free?

Yes, the only form of maintenance is soap and water to wash it down – no painting, no rusting, and no rotting.

Will a vinyl fence or patio cover hold up to the wind?

Yes, all of our applications will withstand 115 mph wind loads.

How do I clean my vinyl?

As with all exterior products, our fences can become dirty when exposed to the elements. A mild detergent and water should be sufficient to keep your fence or deck rail looking new. For tough stains, Soft Scrub or baking soda works well. Simple Green and super fine steel wool (0000) also works to clean stubborn stains.

What is virgin vinyl?

Virgin vinyl is 100% new vinyl with UV inhibitors and impact modifiers throughout the entire product.

Will vinyl burn?

Our vinyl has a flash point of approximately 900 degrees and does not easily ignite. Vinyl is classified as “Self-Extinguishing”.

Do you cement the posts when installing a vinyl fence?

It is common to cement fence posts. Post footings should typically be twice the diameter of the post.

Will vinyl mildew or collect mold?

Vinyl products may, when subjected to extended damp weather, collect mold and mildew. However, because they are non-porous, they are easily cleaned with a solution of mild household detergent and water.

How much does vinyl cost compared to wood?

The cost of the product is amazingly similar for a comparable quality wood product such as #1 grade clear cedar or “A” grade redwood, along with the necessary surface preparation, priming, and painting. In some cases, the cost of vinyl is less than even the typical wood products you would use.

Is vinyl graffiti-proof?

Although not classified as graffiti-proof, vinyl fencing is fairly easy to clean and most graffiti comes off with just a little effort. Often, the graffiti can be removed with Simple Green detergent and a soft cloth. In more severe cases, use 0000 steel wool (super fine), either by itself or with Simple Green or, in extreme cases, use with lacquer thinner, and dry with a soft cloth immediately afterwards.
